Scope and purpose

This Privacy Policy explains how VerusCo collects, uses, shares, and protects information through the public website, marketing pages, contact channels, and related pre-sales interactions.

Customer platform environments, implementation materials, and tenant-specific operational data may be subject to separate agreements, security terms, and data processing obligations. Where a separate written agreement applies, that agreement controls over this public-site policy for the covered service relationship.

Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly, including your name, work email, company, role, inquiry type, and the contents of messages you submit through contact or demo-request forms.

We may also collect limited technical and usage information such as browser type, device information, IP address, approximate location derived from network data, referring pages, and interaction patterns needed to operate, secure, and improve the site.

The public website is not intended for the submission of regulated customer records, consumer financial information, or sensitive onboarding materials such as SSNs, account numbers, or government identification documents.

How we use information

We use information to respond to inquiries, route requests to the appropriate internal team, evaluate potential customer or partner relationships, support existing customer communications, secure the site, and understand how the marketing surface is performing.

We do not sell personal information submitted through this site. We use submitted information only for legitimate business, security, contractual, and legal purposes consistent with operating a regulated B2B platform business.

How we share information

We may share information with service providers that help us host the site, process forms, support communications, secure infrastructure, or operate the platform. Those providers are expected to handle information under confidentiality and security obligations appropriate to their role.

We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, respond to lawful process, protect our rights or users, investigate misuse, or support a merger, financing, restructuring, or similar business event.

Cookies and analytics

We use necessary browser storage for core site functions such as preferences, security, and session continuity.

Where analytics or similar optional technologies are used, we ask for consent first through the site banner and store your choice so we can respect it on future visits.

Operational separation from customer data

The marketing website is intentionally separate from customer operational environments. VerusCo is designed so tenant onboarding, verification, risk, account, transaction, and evidence records stay within the correct tenant and environment rather than on the public site.

This separation is part of VerusCo’s broader control-plane and tenant-plane architecture and is intended to reduce unnecessary exposure of regulated or sensitive operational records on public-facing surfaces.

For financial-institution and fintech customers, additional confidentiality, information-security, data-processing, and vendor due-diligence expectations may be handled through separate contractual and security documentation rather than through this public-site notice alone.

Retention and security

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including business communications, support follow-up, security monitoring, contractual administration, and legal compliance.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information appropriate to the nature of the data and the systems involved. No internet-based system is perfectly secure, but we work to reduce risk and limit unnecessary exposure.

Choices and privacy requests

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or information about certain personal information we hold about you, subject to legal and operational limitations.

To make a privacy request or ask a question about how information is handled, contact hello@verusco.ai. We may need to verify the request and the context before taking action.

Children’s privacy and external links

This site is intended for business and professional audiences and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the public website.

Our site may reference or link to third-party resources. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party services that operate under their own terms and notices.

Policy updates and contact

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the site, our business, security practices, legal requirements, or platform operations. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.

For privacy questions, contact hello@verusco.ai. Requests related to active customer environments or contracted services may be routed through the appropriate customer, support, or security channel.
