1. Eligibility & Account Registration
- You must be at least 18 years old to use our services.
- If registering on behalf of a company or other entity, you confirm that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and any API keys provided for integration.
2. Use of Services & API Integration
- Users must comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Verus™ provides API consulting and integration services but does not own or maintain proprietary API tools.
- API access requires authentication through API keys.
- Users must comply with all applicable API security and authentication protocols, including but not limited to OAuth, encryption, and industry best practices.
3. Data Protection & Privacy
- We process user data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
- Users must not submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
- Verus™ does not store or retain user data beyond what is necessary for service fulfillment. Users acknowledge that data security compliance primarily falls under the third-party API provider's policies.
4. Fees & Payment
- Certain services may require fees, which will be disclosed before payment.
- Payments must be made in accordance with the agreed billing terms.
- Failure to pay may result in legal action.
5. Prohibited Activities
- Excessive or improper use of third-party APIs that may impact service performance is not permitted.
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to modify API responses beyond authorized use.
- Use APIs in a manner that violates provider terms, including fraudulent or misleading activities.
6. Intellectual Property
- Verus™ does not own the APIs it integrates. All rights remain with their respective owners.
- Users are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use our services.
7. Service Availability
- Verus™ does not guarantee the uptime, reliability, or functionality of third-party APIs.
- Service availability may be impacted by third-party APIs, maintenance, or external factors.
- While we strive to provide continuous service, Verus™ may need to modify, suspend, or discontinue certain services due to unforeseen circumstances. We will make every effort to notify users in advance, except in urgent cases where immediate action is required.
8. Updates to Terms
- We may update these Terms periodically to reflect changes in our services, legal requirements, or industry standards.
- When an update significantly impacts users, we will notify affected users and may require acknowledgment or agreement before they can access new or continued services.
- While we will not discontinue existing services for current users, we may pause access to new features or integrations until the updated Terms are acknowledged.
- Continued use of our services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
9. Limitation of Liability
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, Verus™ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services, including disruptions caused by third-party API providers.
10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
- These Terms are governed by the laws of Kentucky, USA. All disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Kentucky.
